Goodbye, Sophomore

Hello! I haven't been able to update my blog since I entered university except for my last two posts about being in Journalism and about a K-pop concert that I went to. As for my university life, I didn't update it in here at all. Firstly, I don't really know what to talk about as it wasn't that exciting and second, I'm just too lazy to write it down haha. Blame my procrastinating self at that. So, I actually found the motivation to write today and since my exams have already finished, I decided to simply list out the exciting and unforgettable experiences I have gotten for this whole two years in USM! Disclaimer: These things I listed may not be exciting at all for you, but for me, it is. On to the list! 1. Sharpening my skill in foreign language.     As an INFP (this is a personality type, and I will be doing a post focusing on this later if I feel like doing it lol), my greatest pleasure in life aside from food is learning new languages. Not trying

2016 iKONCERT Showtime Tour: Live in Malaysia

LONG POST AHEAD!     I have been a fan of the newly-debuted boy group under YG Entertainment, iKON since I first saw them in the reality show W.I.N: Who Is Next in 2013. I supported them when they were still Team B and when they lose the show to Team A (now named WINNER), I was devastated because I thought that Team B was really skilled even though they were still so young back then. They finally debuted in 2015 and as you can guess, I am a fan of them or what you call an iKONIC now! So when they announced a tour in my country, I am extremely excited because hey, who wouldn't want to watch the group that they have supported for so long? Fast forward to yesterday, my friend who initially bought a Rock Zone ticket (with a special pass to Soundcheck and Send off) sadly didn't get to come to the concert so I bought the ticket from her. Thus, my story about the concert will begin! I arrived at the venue at about 3 p.m. since I wanted to redeem my soundcheck and send off pa

This is just for aesthetic purposes, this is not mine by the way.     Well, hello everyone! I know no one actually read my blog but I'm trying to be an optimist here so ignore me. I actually thought of writing an entry about my uni life during the first semester (and it was still in the drafts) and also an entry about how 2015 was an eventful year for me, but my procrastinating self got in the way and so, the entries were just being left there in the drafts. I don't think I'm going to ever post it by the way, I don't even remember what I wanted to write. But then, days passed, months passed, and now I have officially finished my first year as a Communication student! Hooray for not being a freshman!! Oh well, not that it make any differences with me being a freshman and a sophomore. Since we're going to enter the second year, we have to choose which major we wanted to be in during the second year. There are three majors which include Journalism, Persu

credits: Google Images        The quote above has been my life motto since I was little, mainly because my mother never fails to remind me that life itself has its up and downs and we have to endure hardships before we can achieve success in life.  Yes, this is what my post is about.  As most people in my country has known, this week is a hectic week for STPM, Matriculation, Diploma and etc. students who are pursuing degree since the result for university acceptance is out.  To be really honest, I have expected the worst case scenario: I did not get any offer from universities, just like how it happened to me 2 years ago, when I wanted to pursue diploma/matriculation and ended up taking Form 6 because I did not get any offer.  It was sad.  Sad is an understatement. It was a disaster, a catastrophe as I might say it. Though it seems like I am over-reacting because of my choice of words, it was t

This is a post about K Pop, so stay away if you do not want to read anything related to K Pop LOL. I believed that I have grown up from the ultimate fangirl phase, since I started to pay more attention to my real life than my fangirling on Twitter. I used to fangirl 24/7 on Twitter and even following updates on my favorite group's whereabouts, what they wear at the airport, you know, stuff like that. Once, I even went to the airport to see EXO's arrival and that was the first time I have ever done that in my whole fangirling life haha. The experience was surreal, but if you ask me now, I feel really, really, embarrassed with myself back then. And it was only 2 years ago. It started last year, I think? When I started to focus more on my studies (since I had STPM last year), real life friends, and real life stuff rather than spending time replying tweets from my online friends on Twitter and fangirling over EXO or Big Bang. Started from that time, I felt like focusing on

Interview: UiTM Mass Communication 2015

Here I am again with another post on an interview experience on ((yes, again)) Mass Communication course. This time, I got an interview in UiTM Shah Alam and needless to say, I was relieved because the campus was so close to my house and I don't need to wake up at 5 A.M. like I did when I went to the USM interview. -__-  The interview was on a Saturday, means less traffic jams and my dad doesn't have to take another leave from his school like last week LOL I actually pitied my dad a lot for having to take a leave every time I had an interview (I got another interview on 27th May for UM but I will talk about it in another post). We then started our journey to the UiTM campus around 7 A.M and the roads were clear and made our journey a breezy one; before we entered the campus. Let me tell you, the campus was HELLA JAMMED with all these cars that I think belong mostly to the students and also the parents of the people who got an interview there because the interviews for

How Did Being An STPM Student Changed Me?

Hello! It's me again! Yes, the same old face greeting you with a more matured and improved self than 2 years ago (eg: look at my old posts to see my childishness). I hope the SPM-leavers who hesitates to enrol as a Form 6 student will change their minds after reading my post. Why do I say that? Because I was just like you guys; I thought Form 6 was not cool, since we have to wear school uniform and studying in the school environment just like during Form 1 until Form 5, like tak cool lah pakai baju sekolah, dah lah belajar kat sekolah. Betul tak? If you tell me you NEVER had that perception about Form 6, I'm gonna give you a cookie for being a special snowflake who possess a different perspectives than other people. And no, I am not being sarcastic here LOL. Okay, sarcasm aside, I think I can never thank my beloved mother enough for pushing me to accept the Form 6 admission offer and never failed to encouraged me to continue studying in Form 6 even though my heart was waverin
